Our investment philosophy
There are no clear-cut answers to the complex and uncertain problems of our multifaceted world.
Asilo approaches investment as an intellectual problem with no fixed structure. Solving such a problem requires not only numerical data but also an understanding of the broader context beyond the numbers, which can only be provided by the human mind.
Active engagement and a strong focus are the cornerstones of our investment philosophy. We keep our portfolio concentrated at 10-20 stocks to ensure sufficient resources to analyse and monitor the target companies themselves, their competitors, the business environment, strategy, management, life cycle, supply chains and megatrends.
We use the EVA methodology as a starting point, which we combine with our unique approach to numerical data in an interdisciplinary and unbiased manner.
